What do these benefits mean for your business?
Document review: understand what you’re signing.
A review helps you understand an existing document. Count both the annual number of reviews and the page limit for each document. Reviewing a contract does not automatically include writing or negotiating a new one.
Lawyer letters and calls: help communicate your position.
These allowances concern an attorney communicating on your business’s behalf for an eligible matter. They are separate from consultation access and do not mean unlimited representation in every dispute.
Collection letters: a step toward recovering an unpaid bill.
A qualifying letter can ask for payment on your behalf. It does not guarantee recovery, and filing a collection lawsuit is not the same service.
Trial defense: compare preparation time and court time.
Pre-trial hours and trial hours are separate allowances. Membership tenure affects the available hours. Review eligibility, exclusions and the complete schedule before assuming a lawsuit is covered.
Audit help and discounts: understand the boundaries.
Audit assistance has a maximum hour allowance. An additional-service discount reduces eligible attorney charges; it does not make that work free or necessarily cover filing fees, court costs or other expenses.
Authorized users: who may use the business membership?
These are designated people permitted to access eligible business services. This is not a separate personal legal membership for each employee.
